Hansika Motwani stood before the camera as a child artist and with every new project sculpted a name for herself even at a very young age. After a small stint with the small-screen, she zoomed out, larger-than-life on to the silver screen as a heroine with ‘Mappillai‘ where she starred opposite Dhanush. Though the film dealt with a hero-centric subject, Hansika Motwani‘s performance got noticed by film goers as well as the critics.
She began her acting career as a child artiste in TV serials and then debuted in films with Koi Mil Gaya (Hindi). Her first film as a heroine was Puri Jagannath‘s Telugu flick Desamuduru, followed by Kantri, Maska, Billa, Jayeebhava and Seetharamula Kalyanam. She made her Kollywood debut with Mappillai.
